Improper Entry by Maintenance Staff on Dec 2
On December 2nd at 10 AM, a maintenance worker knocked and announced himself, but then immediately entered my apartment without ... waiting for a response or having given any prior notice. While he was checking for water leakage, this still isn't appropriate protocol. Unless there's an emergency, maintenance staff should provide at least 24 hours notice before entering apartments and should wait for tenant permission after knocking. While I appreciate the need for maintenance, proper notice and respect for tenant privacy is essential. Management should ensure proper procedures are followed in the future. I have been living in The Barlows since December 2023. I can say the location is perfect and the pricing is reasonable with ... today’s market. The security doors are nice as well.
